The RO-CHER consortium brings together different types of organisations, namely a public research organisation, a national institute for research and development, a university and two distinguished museums.
The consortium is led by the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA), a scientific and technology organization that coordinates, promotes and represents national research activities and space, aerospace and security applications.
Partner #1 – National R&D Institute for Chemistry and Petrochemistry ICECHIM – has an extensive expertise in archaeometry, materials science and the application of specific techniques for the restoration and conservation of cultural heritage.
Partner #2 – University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest (USAMVB) – has a strong background in terrestrial measurements (close-range photogrammetry, geodetic GNSS surveys, laser scanning) as well as Earth Observation.
Partner #3 – National Museum of Unification Alba Iulia (MNUAI) and Partner #4 – Museum of Dacian and Roman Civilisation (MCDR) – are two outstanding museums that actively promote the Romanian culture and history.
